Jagmohan Dalmiya termed ICC not reconsidering its decision to take away India-England cricket World Cup match from Eden Gardens as "unfavourable and disappointing".

The BCCI issued a release to the ICC conveying its inability to hold the match at Eden Gardens on Feb 27. The Board said it has recommended Bangalore as the alternate venue.

The ICC rejected BCCI's appeal to reconsider its decision to take away the match from Kolkata but Sharad Pawar said Eden Gardens can host the other ties if it is ready on time.

With ICC president Sharad Pawar reportedly setting February 7 as the deadline the West Bengal PWD stepped in to help CAB complete the work within the deadline.

The International Cricket Council has rejected BCCI's request to extend the deadline given to Eden Gardens for completing the renovation work.

CAB has been accused for messing up the ICC inspection by sending 32 officials who had no knowledge about the progress of renovation work at the Eden Gardens.
