West Indies have dropped Shimron Hetmyer from the T20I squad for the remaining two games against England, while Alzarri Joseph has been rested.

Hetmyer, who was left out of the XI in the third T20I, has struggled with poor form recently and made contributions of only 1 and 2 in the first-two matches against England. In the preceding ODIs too, the explosive batter scored just 32, 0 and 12 in the three outings.

Johnson Charles, meanwhile, has been recalled as a replacement. Charles played his last T20I against India in August earlier this year.

On the other hand, Joseph has been afforded a break ahead of the team's all-formats tour of Australia starting January 17. West Indies are due to play two Tests, three ODIs and as many T20Is with the fast bowler likely to feature in all squads.

Replacing him is fellow pacer Oshane Thomas for the last-two matches of the series in Trinidad.

West Indies currently lead 2-1, and also won the ODI series by the same margin.
