Speaking after India wrapped up another comfortable victory against hosts Zimbabwe, debutant Mohit Sharma, who was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match said he was excited about his performance in his first game and hoped that he would continue to impress. The 24-year old from Haryana, who picked up two important wickets and helped India bowl out Zimbabwe for a paltry 144, said he was trying to keep things simple and stick to the basics as much as possible. "It feels good and I would like to thank the skipper for giving me the chance. I just wanted to keep things simple, I am very excited. I did not try too much and I just kept to the basics. Hopefully, I will do well in the future as well," he said. His skipper Virat Kohli showered praise on the young bowler and also credited batsmen Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma for helping them win with ease. "There was a bit on that wicket, the bowlers extracted some movement from the surface and got us the early wickets. Very pleased for Mohit Sharma. He bowled really well and was accurate. "Raina and Rohit Sharma finished the chase off well. We wanted to give the guys who did not have a decent bat a go, it was good to see Rohit and Raina do well. We want to end on a high and go home with a smile. We need to execute our skills well and the end result will come as well," he summed up. Zimbabwe skipper Brendan Taylor was at a loss for words as to how his team's hardwork off the field does not reflect in their performance on it. "It is pretty frustrating. We are not able find ways to end our losing streak. We are not converting our preparations into results. There were lots of soft dismissals and we have been capitulating every time. We can't come back from those situations." He however said he was hopeful of putting up a good show in the final game. "We have one more game and we have everything to play for. Hopefully, we can put some smiles on the faces of our fans in the next match," he said.
