Launching a scathing attack on the England team management, former star batsman, Kevin Pietersen, has urged the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to come up with a comprehensive plan for the One Day team if they are to have a chance at the upcoming 2015 Cricket World Cup, to be played in Australia and New Zealand.

India beat England by a comprehensive margin of 9 wickets to gain an unassailable 3-0 lead in the 5-match ODI series. The final match will be played at Leeds on Friday. Skipper, Alastair Cook, has admitted winning the World Cup at this point of time as 'far-fletched', but vowed to keep fighting. "I know that seems far fetched when we are losing games of cricket, but there are a lot of good players in that dressing room and if we can improve at the rate we need to improve at, then we have a chance," he said.

Pietersen was on twitter even as the Indian openers were knocking off the 207-run target in ridiculously easy fashion and said a 'through shake-up' of the England ODI team was required 'before and not after the World Cup'.

Pietersen was sacked from the England team following the humiliating 0-5 Ashes defeat last summer. Skipper Alastair Cook was said to have approved the decision to oust Pietersen as he looked forward to building a 'new England team'
