The South African setup is sweating over the fitness of both Morne Morkel and JP Duminy ahead of the tri-series final against Australia. Morkel, the fast bowler is struggling with a shoulder problem, while Duminy has injured his left knee.

"MRI Scans were done on Morne Morkel's right shoulder and JP Duminy's left knee earlier this week. Morkel's scan confirmed an aggravation of a pre-existing rotator cuff tear which has worsened due to a high workload in Zimbabwe, while Duminy's scan confirmed a patella tendinopathy diagnosis," South Africa team manager Mohammed Moosajee said in a statement.

Mohammed Moosajee concluded by saying, "Both players have been managed through the last few games by physiotherapist Brandon Jackson, but due to the worsening nature of their injuries recently, their availability for tomorrow's final will be subject to a late fitness test in the morning."

Both are vital members of the squad. In fact, Duminy has been in fine form in this tri-series. However, Morkel, has struggled for consistency, as he has taken just four wickets at the cost of 38.75.
