New Zealand will look to end their, seemingly never-ending, tour of England on high when they take on the hosts in the T20Is. Both teams had contrasting Champions Trophy campaigns with New Zealand falling short in the group stages, while England were outdone by India at the final hurdle. EnglandEngland will hope to get over the disappointment of having lost in the final with a powerful performance in the first T20I. England are likely to field a new team with most of the players who played in the Champions Trophy final. All eyes will be on Eoin Morgan, who will be leading a heavily-inexperienced side. Boyd Rankin, Jade Dernbach and Chris Woakes are likely to form the pace attack, but it will be James Tredwell, who after a superb showing in the Champions League, who will Morgan's main bowler. The batting looks solid despite the lack of matches between the players, with the likes of Morgan, Ravi Bopara and Luke Wright to give the middle order enough firepower and back up a rather susceptible top-order.New ZealandNew Zealand on the other hand, would be coming in fresh after enough rest after the Champions Trophy. They narrowly missed out on qualification to the semi-finals and would hope to put that behind them and continue their strong run in England. The Kiwis emerged triumphant after a comeback 2-1 series win in the ODIs, which happened before the Champions Trophy, and they will hope to finish the limited overs leg on a high. Martin Guptill was undoubtedly New Zealand's best batsman during their ODI series, and once again the Black Caps will look to the right-hander to give them a strong start. He played well for the New Zealanders in their warm-up against Kent and will be their main weapon. Their bowling lacks the experience and guile of Tim Southee and Ian Butler, Kyle Mills and Mitchell McClenaghan will have to ensure the Black Caps don't miss Southee too much.Likely XI:England: Eoin Morgan (capt), Gary Ballance, Ravi Bopara, Alex Hales, Michael Lumb, Jos Butler (wk), Luke Wright, Chris Woakes, James Tredwell, Boyd Rankin, Jade DernbachNew Zealand: Hamish Rutherford, Martin Guptill, Brendon McCullum, Ross Taylor, Tom Latham, Colin Munro, Corey J Anderson, Ian Butler, Kyle Mills, Ronnie Hira, Mitchell McClenaghan. Stats:England have won 3 of their last 5 T20Is, while New Zealand have won twice and lost 3 times. Head to Head: England and New Zealand have played each other 9 times, and England have the bragging rights with 7 wins out of the nine.
