That's a wrap from Launceston. We will be back tomorrow for Sydney Thunder's opening game (vs Brisbane Heat) at the Canberra. Do remember to join us for that. Cheers!!

Daniel Hughes | Player of the Match: Those small little totals can be tricky, was just trying to hit the gaps and run hard and the boundaries will come. Credit to our bowling unit, they bowled a lot of cutters and because of the dew the cutters weren't hloding as much in the second innings. It was great to see our bowlers adapt after the first couple of overs.

22:48 local, 11:48 GMT, 17:18 IST: A target of 136 was never going to be enough and despite losing their openers inside 6 overs, the Sixers didn't panic, thanks to the experience of Daniel Hughes. He held one end and allowed the other batters to play their natural game. Although it was a tough pitch to score runs, Sixers kept their cool and scored timely boundaries to keep control of the required rate. The towering quick Meredith looked in superb form with the ball, but his spell was cut short because of a side strain...

19.2

Jordan to Tom Curran, FOUR, Sydney Sixers win by 6 wickets and leap up to the top of the table. Tom Curran sinks to one knee and thumps Chris Jordan inside out over extra cover with an air of authority...

19.1

Jordan to Tom Curran, no run, full and angling down leg, Curran looks to flick and misses. It takes the pad and rolls to cover. Mild appeal for leg before, but that was missing leg comfortably...

18.6

Nathan Ellis to Daniel Hughes, SIX, scores level. Juicy length delivery on the stumps, Daniel Hughes says thank you and hoicks it into the deep square stands with terrific timing

18.5

Nathan Ellis to Daniel Hughes, no run, full and wide of off at 139ks, Daniel Hughes looks to drive and misses

18.4

18.3

18.2

Nathan Ellis to Tom Curran, 1 run, back of a length at 141ks just outside off, clipped away to the right of deep mid-wicket

Tom Curran, right handed bat, comes to the crease

18.1

Nathan Ellis to Silk, out Caught by Wade!! Need no DRS this time around. Nathan Ellis hits the hard length and keeps it well wide of off, Silk opts for the pull and the top-edge loops up to the left of the keeper. Catching practice for Wade. Silk c Wade b Nathan Ellis 23(19) [4s-1 6s-1]

Nathan Ellis to Silk, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Just a couple of hits away now

17.6

Jordan to Daniel Hughes, 2 runs, whips the length delivery to the left of deep mid-wicket. 15 runs off the over

17.5

Jordan to Silk, 1 run, slower length delivery on off, Silk chips the drive in front of mid-on

17.4

Jordan to Silk, SIX, full and just outside off, Silk goes deep inside the crease and mows it off the thick inside half over the leaping deep mid-wicket fielder...

17.3

Jordan to Silk, no run, it was full and wide of off, Silk looks to drive it over covers and gets beaten on the outside edge. Once again the umpire was a bit hesitant before raising his finger and Silk went up for the review almost instantly...

Silk has been given out caught behind and he can't believe the onfield verdict. Sixers' review. There was some sound as the ball passed the bat but UltraEdge shows a flat line. The sound was off the (toe end) bat making contact with the ground...

17.2

Jordan to Silk, 2 runs, full and wide of off at 136ks, Silk lifts the drive back over the bowler's head to the right of mid-off
