June 15, 2019: Tahir scrips big win for South Africa against hapless Afghanistan

In what was South Africa's first ever World Cup encounter for them against Afghanistan, the former have hammered the latter by 9 wickets. Afganistan batted first and were rolled over for 125. Morris picked up three wickets and Tahir picked up four-fer to spell doom for Afghanistan. Noor Ali Zadran and Zazai started off well but once the first wicket fell at 39, things continued to fall apart post that. In reply, SA had their openers Hashim Amla and Quinton de Kock adding 104 runs for the first wicket. Andile Phehlukwayo was promoted and he scored 17 runs to ensure the win was completed in the 29th over.
